The dissolved oxygen meter is an instrument that continuously measures the concentration of dissolved oxygen in condensate and feed water used in boiler plants. Dissolved oxygen is a major cause of corrosion and deposits and should be monitored continuously.
Working Principle:
Vasthi Make Fluorescence method The dissolved oxygen sensor is based on the physics of specific substances and the fluorescence quenching principle. The blue light from the light-emitting diode (LED) illuminates the fluorescent substance on the inner surface of the fluorescent cap. The fluorescent substance on the inner surface is excited to emit red light. By detecting the phase difference between red and blue light, we can calculate the concentration of oxygen molecules. The temperature and pressure automatically compensate for the final output value.
